• Bio

 I am honored to be part of the Hillside community.  I have taught at Hillside for 14 years.  Many of those years have been in First Grade. The others as a teacher on special assignment teaching Reading Intervention and English Language Development. 

• What Inspires Me

 Kids inspire me.  I love to see their smiling faces each morning.  Their curiosity and motivation to learn pushes me to work harder.  I am also motivated each day by my own children.  My oldest son graduated in 2016 from Cal State East Bay with a major in Finance and Real Estate Development.  My middle son is currently attending U.C. Davis, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and my daughter is a sophomore at San Leandro High School. 

• College

 I received my masters in Educational Leadership at St. Mary’s College; My teaching credential at Patten University, My degree in liberal studies at California State University Hayward; and I attended UC Berkeley for 2 years right after high school where I discovered who I was as a person and learner.

I take attendance using Aeries. You can stay on top of attendance through the Aeries Family Portal or Aeries App

Report Cards:

I use Aeries to generate report cards. Families can view report cards through the Aeries Family Portal.
